New Bike Cam: Veho VCC-005-MUVI-HD10+

Post by Jamz »

I bought a brand spanking new Veho VCC-005-MUVI-HD10+ camera the other day as an upgrade to the Veho Muvi Pro and MD80 cams that I ride with every journey.

After the initial test run I need to dampen the sound a bit and look at mounting points (it's about four times the size of the Muvi Pro), but it all looks very promising!

1080 HD quality is pretty damned good, vibrations don't seem to affect it too badly, the mountings and accessories you get with it are awesome (perfect for trackdays), and todays test showed a battery recording time of well over three hours and possibly over four!

OK, so it's probably not as good as the GoPro, but then the GoPro is a lot more overt and harder to mount without everyone for miles seeing it, and the GoPro also costs £250.

This Veho HD10 sits nicely in the gap from the cheapo £50 cams (£10 if you've got an MD80) and the GoPro at a rather reasonable £130. There's also a HD7 (with 720 HD) for around £30 less.

Has anyone else given one a go?

Thanks!

It took me more than 4 hours to do that latest one - not including the 3 hour road test lol! I think I should be getting paid for it! :smt003
