Does it weigh the same as you?

It's either ballast or you're punishing yourself by using a really hard seat! :pmsl

new style back protector, save the spine by smashing the tarmac up?

ballast and balance are both involved..............and yes it was lead off a roof.

nothing to do with actually riding the bike more a maintainance issue made easier

when bike is on abba stand or similar, put weight on back and front end is in the air?

sitting it on the back of the crankcases until head/barrels are off when engine's out on the bench? (stop it toppling forward?)
