misfire??
heyyy is there any common cause of a misfire on the zxr400. wen its cold it misfires but wen its warmed up its ok. im kinda thinkin coil but they usually break dwn wen hot. i have new sparklers bt agen thts normally unda load. ne ideas ???? overfuellin  etc???

if its doing it when cold i would say its more a fuel or spark plug issue.

Cheack the HT leads mate, my XJR400 had a misfire for the 2 years that i owned it, i always put it down to the valve oil seals leaking oil as is belched white/blue smoke when it fired up. I started it one day with the tank off and saw a bright blue spark jumping from one of the leads!

y, its winter, he says it gets better as it warms up, sounds like carb icing to me.

but the temp hasn't been anything like cold enough for the last week. And carb icing gets worse with engine running time.
