Bike struggling to start. been over every small thing, rebuilt entire motor, new crank, new head and TDC all set up. Carb completely rebuilt - all in good condition and clean.
So, I get spark, Float bowls fill up but not getting petrol into the cylinders - Im getting no suck and thats not much fun.
What are these things and would they probably be my apparent downfall?
This is the old head- seem to have been blanked and now I have another head and see shiny nipple valves I would assume that would have something to do with compression and vacuum?
Thanks guys
Chris

Your meant to have pipes that connect the two inner and two outer spiggots. Weather they are causing your starting problem im not sure.

As above, there should be nipples there with pipes connecting them. This is what mine looks like:
When I left one of the pipes off once it ran horribly. Connected it back up and it ran great, so that might be your problem

Great stuff, the other head has them.
Ive noticed your main fuel line into in the centre of all the carbs and another two pipes on either side of the main line between each carb ----- ( )/( )!( )\( )
/ \ being the two extra pipes if you guys understand that and ! is the main fuel line. what are those extra pipes for?

do you mean the two (usually orange) pipes that are connected to the carbs? - they are fuel overflow pipes.
