I've got one .. mint condition, genuine SP G/W/B M1 colours, but like rob, Im keeping it
real ones are uber rare in good nick
BB plastics do an SP shape seat for about £80 though, and their stuff is good quality

(bottom left, the other one is like the normal seat unit, but single)

They look pretty good but do you know if the non 'race' one (on the right) will accomindate the fuel tap?

should do .. its for road bikes.. and has the cutout for one .. exactly the same as the standard panels, only without the pillion pad, and in one piece.Miles wrote:They look pretty good but do you know if the non 'race' one (on the right) will accomindate the fuel tap?
best to contact them with your specific requirements.

Not unless you have an angle grinder handy.

Re: Anyone have SP tail Unit???
Anyone know where/how I can get the standard shaped one (to fit the original seat/fuel tap etc) with a cut out for the rear light?? If not, how much of a bugger would cutting the hole for light be? Anyone done it?
Cheers!

Re: Anyone have SP tail Unit???
I had to cut them out on my first ZXR with a jigsaw cutter. Its hassle and the gel coat chipped quite easily, so if you can source one already cut then i would say go that route. Im pretty sure the pre-cut units are available.
