My ZXR (H1) has 2 fuel filters, one from the tank to the pump, and another from the pump to the carbs.
I can't find out what is normal from looking on the manual or microfiche. What do you have?
Thanks

normal is a single filter from the tank to the pump, and then individual strainers in each carb (where the float needle sits), its more important to have the strainer before the pump than after it...if the first one has done its job there shouldnt be anything left to filter
you need the one before the pump as the pump membrane can be easily damaged by dirt/rust etc...

Ah brilliant, exactly what I wanted to know and shall modify accordingly.
Looking forward to the new race bike progress, thanks John.

Re: How Many Fuel Filters Do You Have?
cheers, its coming along slowly, my fairing brackets are hopefully gonna be here for the end of the week, then i can fit the side panels and get the front fairing properly fixed in, then other than having no tail plastics, and shot front forks, its ready to rock and roll!
and all my engine rebuild bits are here for the fzr1000, im just waiting on assembly lube as my bottle seems to have vanished, once thats here the heavy duty work can begin
