Hi,
I race with BEMSEE.
They are at Brands this weekend on the GP circuit.

EDIasia Formula 400
Sponsored again by EDIasia the F400 class has developed into a superbly competitive class with great camaraderie. Fuel injection systems are not allowed in this class, which uses treaded tyres. There’s a Rookie section in this class and a “stock” sub-64 bhp class.
JB.

+1 for bemsee. theres also a sub64 class which is a power limited class that makes building a bike a fair bit cheaper, can still use your rear shock but no fancy carbon wheels, slipper clutches, quickshifters or aftermarket management/CDI's allowed

Never heard of suspension being a restriction on racing a 400 tbh.

Great, its just ive changed the forks, brakes and shock so I thought that might make a difference, what would be a decent budget for a weekend at say brands excluding tyres? There's no way I could afford a whole season but hoping to fit a few races in

I've got an R6 front end on mine and no one's ever mentioned anything. Raced in Scotland and on the roads in Ireland.
Unless there's a production 400 class still kicking about somewhere you'll be fine. Formula 400 and super sport 400 classes you can change the forks.
