Hello,
I've started to stripdown my engine to replace all worn parts as needed , BUT when I removed the righthand engine pulse cover and this rubber piece just fell out ! It is about 50mm long and about 30mm width ,the part number on it is 92160-1134.
This item is shown on my parts list and appears with the cam/cam chain and tensioners and appears to be a modified part ,but my list is in Japanese !!
Any help would be appreciated, Thanks.
What is this part?

Its the damper block for the camchain tensioner,
slots in behind the intake side camchain guide, top left of the ignition rotor housing

Thanks Miles,
It really does seem to be quite an afterthought the way it fits !! It surprised me the way it fell out when I removed the ignition cover and then I just couldn't see where it fitted, so thanks again from Neale.

Hello ,
I have tried fitting the damper block and this appears to be a reasonable fit , it seems such an afterthought for Kawasaki !
I've attached , I hope, a photograph .
Thanks Neale.

That's the one!
On a side note your cam tensioner looks like its nearing the end of its travel. Could be your chain, guide or tensioner

Re: What is this part?
the tensioner is fine, only needs changing once the tensioner actually starts to butt up against the metal housing.
ive fitted a new chain and the tensioner was not that much more compressed than yours.
