Howya lads. I've been lurking round here on and off over the passed few years. I bought a race bike a good few years ago and dropped it on a track day in Kirkistown along with taking a few lumps out of myself. Then came buying a house, wedding and kids. So the bike went from this
To this with a paint job
Dollars have been tight and haven't got much use out of it but just had the crazy idea of putting it back on the road. I have the V5. I know it will cost a bomb and take forever but I'm in no rush, don't have a road licence yet either.
But would anyone have a ball park of restoring everything as a road bike?

welcome.
not sure on the laws where you are but in england we can get an mot with advisories, ie. without lights (day time mot), all that is required is a horn.

I'm in Ireland. Think I'll have to go the whole hog to get it on the road
