Hope I have not wasted my time
Refitted my cleaned set of carbs this morning to be greeted with fuel pouring out the overflows After reading up a bit, the original o rings on the needle seat may have been unsettled during the cleaning so not having original o rings to hand, opened up my selection of o rings & fitted new ones. Just hoping the problem is solved when the carbs are refitted!

Probably find that the orings on the floats were disturbed and being several years old aren't sealing anymore.
Changing them for new should see you right.
That or your float bowl needle tang is out and allowing too much fuel in

i'd also suggest that float bowl needle is sticking.

Change of o rings did the trick so no more overflowing thank goodness
