Hi, I'm Colin. I've had my L4 since 1996. Ever since I was a spotty teenager I'd wanted a ZXR400. I would get the bus into Manchester city centre and visit Knott Mill Kawasaki twice a week just to look at the ZXRs. The staff got to know me a little and gave me the old posters off the wall when they got new ones... I must have been really annoying at the time... so when this appeared in a local dealer I just had to.
Totally original apart from the exhaust, it's got a genuine 15000 miles on the clock.
I was told by the dealer (Andy Noble in Scarborough) that this was originally owned by KMUK and was the bike featured in the UK brochures, but I can't validate that. He used to get the ex. KMUK bikes as the GPX250 I had before it was previously registered to KMUK and I was the second owner.
Hope you like it, and if anyone can validate the wild claim above, that would be great...
