basicly my cam chain tensioner blade the rod thing that goes up the left hand side of the cam shaft, that the tensioner assy fits into has snapped just above the connection bit, do i have to remove the head to change this or can i pull out and replace from the rocker cover, and does anyone have the code for one, and is there anything else to worry about

Part number 46102-1261 You dont need to take the engine apart at all, just take the cover off the cam chain pulley at the bottom, then undo the two bolts that hold the tensioner in to the engine (they go up from underneath). The rod will fall out, put a new one it then replace the tensioner. To replace the tensioner you need to remove the lock bolt (the only bolt in the tensioner) and compress the tensioner (by pushing it in and holding the ratchet thing in place) and stick a pin in when the lock bolt goes. Put the new rod in and bolt the tensioner back in to the engine then pull the pin out of the tensioner and replace the lock bolt.

Or summit like that :smt002
