petrol consumption

ok i put 9 quid in my bike and rode 100KM before i had to switch to reserve, does this sound about right? also when i get my new can, will there be much difference to how much petrol is used?

It seems to vary alot, my ZXR i used to put in 10 quid of fuel and get about 100 miles out of it, some people get right upto 150miles i think.

On a full tank I get about 180kms before I have to go to reserve and that's also when I'm spanking it. I reset my odo whenever I fill up and make sure I fill up before I do 170kms. Never ran out of fuel yet.

100kms seems a bit low for a full tank. You do mean Kilometres don't ya?

yea but turns out my clocks are in miles lol, 104 miles b4 went onto reserve, dont worry lol

104 miles x 1.6 = 166kms so that's about right....nice one

I've just got a 24 litre tank for my ZXR.......... standard is about 16 litres

I wonder will it do 150 miles on 24 litres ????? at race speeds ????
