think I've mentioned this before on here but there was a girl i was at uni with who had an FZR400RR and was pretty much flat on the tank all the time. she was then surprised that i was able to twist round and look behind me while riding while she couldn't.CarneyUK wrote:I'm 5' 3" and look like I'm constantly on the tank trying to race everyone.......most of the time I am.

Pure bliss
6.1", and started riding my ZXR about a month ago.
Wrists: At first it killed my wrists and forearms around town but I strangely got used to it after a few days (maybe built up muscle?). Absolutely sweet when going fast though. The clutch isn't particularly heavy either, which is nice.
Knees: My knees tend to go after about 200km but I often just stand up on the pegs for a few k to iron out the aches. Get yourself a good pair of knee sliders - this thing just leans and leans. I put my knee down on relfex wearing a pair of jeans with pretty chafed consequences
!
Feet: With my Sidi boots on, I find that I need to manouever my left leg at a somewhat different angle when changing gear than wearing trainers/ light boots, which has so far resulted in slight spraining to my lower left leg and knee.
Back: Haven't had any major problems with my back on the ZXR. My old Hornet 600 used to be a right bugger for my upper back, which is odd considering the dimensions of the bike. I've had a few twinges in my lower back at low speeds but nothing serious.
butt: The rider's seat is spacious enough for even the biggest bums. Because a lot of my weight is forward on the tank and grips, I haven't had any "numb bum syndrome" (TM) - and I've been on some bloody epic rides already.
Neck: Neck sometimes gets sore at speeds less than 80/100km, but no more than any other sportsbike. Bent over at 100km I can almost rest my chin on the front screen, which is actually quite comfy!
Shoulders: I have really gangly arms, but haven't had any problem at all thus far.
Nuts: I dunno about the rest of the fellas here, but that metal tank can give your hairy plums a RIGHT battering over potholes and bumpy surfaces. I mean, I've actually had to pull over and rearrange myself
I invested in a rather plush padded tank pad to try and cushion said plums
I've also developed a nasty habit of stuffing a tiny cushion between my legs for long rides. Looks well well dodge though
