One Of Those Weeks

Post by superman »

I must say what a week, im i the only person who has these terrible weeks / days.
went out sat to practice wheelys got down an old industrial estate road hardley used with me mate so i said hang here ill just go abit further down turn round an then wheely past you (most childish but it was the first time for me). except i didnt even get to turn round as i turned i put my foot down as you do except my foot gripped the road better than i thought an i ended up spannering forward which in turn pushed my right arm in an pressed the brake which caused the bike to drop with a full tank of gas, luckily i saved it and held on to it so i just placed it on the ground but i flooded the engine.
Anyway after half hour of tryin to start it here an there it finally went so i left it running a while an chatted to me mate, then it cuts out DAMMMMMM forgot to turn the fuel back on then it seemed like the battery went dead cos it wouldnt start so i had to push the bike to me mates GFs house so he went ahead anyway i push the bike callin it every name possible back along the road tryin to bump with no joy it was about half a mile or so later up a slight hill met me mate there an i just thought i would try n start it one more time not far from the destination an what happens it starts so i ask me mate to push the bike back so i can get on the road an he pushes the light an bosts the clips so me lights needs puttin right. i also notice the back left indicator aint workin either at this point.
Yesterday i leave work at 6 after a long day goin home in the car as i merge onto the motorway front left tire blows, PROBLEM i have no spare wheel with my car so i had to call the RAC to pick me up as the tyre was shreaded. 2 hours later i get home.
This mornin i had to take the bike to work in the rain which dont bother me greatly just abit wet but as i get the bike out i manage to clip the front indicator on my car an brake it off so now not only is my front light held in by duct tape but so is my indicator. i wonder whats next. :smt010

Edit....oh yea an i forgot my shoes this mornin as well so im in the office in a nice suit with my biker boots on (good job i have no meetings) :smt087

its all good fun! i used to allways have the same problem with my 400 once the fuel is stoped it takes for ever to get going again.

Normaly would happen while stoped on a very busy roundabout!

just rember you get paid tomorrow so its not all bad! :smt005

sounds crap. atleast you have a bike on the road though. Took the cr out on monday and flipped it though, oopsy.

If your headlight is toast they are fairly cheap second hand, infact that cradley heath is selling a new one for very little.

Ran over a pideon in my car saturday night delivering pizza (long story about the moped...)

It dented my bonnet.

Just now I noticed a nail in my rear tyre on my ZX6r. So that's 700 miles, and soon to be third rear tyre.Gotta be a record...

Well i feel much better today cos sunday an y-day i took the bike appart an fixed it good an proper, them clips will stay put now, problem is i think takin your bike appart is addictive cos while its stripped you always see something else that could be done (oh also fixed the indicators) :smt005

Wonderpupp... i know how you feel but soon it will be your time for abit of good luck surely.

I hope things look up for me soon cos im off to spain in 5 wks, flyin from b-ham, an no i didnt watch that programme last night about them serious flaws in birmingham airports security :smt022

By the time I got home, I had 2 nails in my rear tyre. Lol.

One could have been repaired, but 2 is replace only.

http://wonderpupp46.blogspot.com/ my blog, which so far is just to show off pics of my new bike and stuff.

I hope you can make out the 2 separate tack/nails in the tyre from this pic (from my phone.).

:)

It will all get better. I do keep telling myself that, mostly when I lock myself in the garage with only a couple of low-lit desk lamps on - Sat on Wakka - my zxr400 and hugging the fuel tank in some hope that it will magically heal and all will be ok again.

I was never this skint when I had only my ZXR400 to run. lol.

Try my day out, i moved out of my uni house today, came home yesterday on the bike with the girlfriend no probs. Woke up this morning and it already felt like one of those days!

Got ready in time, got organised and left the house to go pick up the hire van. Mum kindly dropped us off at the hire place, walked in, took booking details now lets pay! Transaction went fine till girlfriend pulled the card out too early, transaction voided, try again, transaction unauthorised, try again transaction unauthorised. toad, ive not got the money to pay hence the girlfriend is, ok well pop to the bank and find out whats wrong, banks closed at 8.30 in the morning doh!

Quick call to mum 'heeeeeeeeeelp' she comes and pays for thr van hire woohoo, finally on the road by 9 am...

Get to hatfield, pull up outside my house,

Me - 'wheres my keys?'

GF - 'what?' (she thought i was joking)

Me - 'im not joking wheres my fucking keys!?'

No where to be found, a quick call home they are sat on the side, f***! spent an hour and a half getting to Hatters, and now the same time back and same time again to return to Hatfield, GUTTED!

Finally get the van loaded up with my things, leave the house to goto GF's to pick her things up, open her room door and theres toad loads! I mean loads, girly loads, not a few big boxes, lots of little ones, so im up and down the stairs like a fucking yoyo twice as many times as i need to be. Luckily it all goes in the van and were on our way again. All was well after that, droppe GF off home in suffolk and then me back to kent, got back at 11.15pm and now just finished organising room slightly, its all now comprehendable work to do tomo to move back in me room!

But my god im tired, plus to the day was seeing a ZXR400 down the A12 :smt003
