i dont get how u can drop a zxr on cold tyres, i got plenty of traction from cold on my 636, although its abit different on black ice and wet surfaces lol, we all been there and done that i guess, any other winter riders here ?, although i do have pilot powers fitted to my bike and they grip very well from cold,

Well me and me mate realised that is was a warm day, the bike had been sitting for a few hours and it suddenly turned cold, our visors had misted up just sitting there and everything had a thin layer of moisture on it, that coupled with giving it a handful on cold tyres and a cold surface it was probably inevitable. that was on a BT010.

you're obviously not twisting that throttle enough rob :smt005

hmm, i exited lakeside went up round the back of st bedes under the under pass up into town down the hill round the round about and clocked 150 mph at the oast house and which point i shut off, got caught in the moment, but my pilot powers gripped when i nailed that throttle in second, how ever i dont nail the throttle when the tyres are cold and if there is any lean on the bike, thats just being silly then isnt it,

I didnt have any angle of lean, i was bolt upright, pulled out the carpark, got it up right and nailed it, next thing i was spinning up the road. Like i said, we reckon it was the the fact it turned cold all of a sudden and everything had moisture on it. Ill never know exactly of course.

The trouble with having an open mind, is that people will insist on coming along and trying to put things in it.
