i wouldnt suppose you wouldn't get much in the way of lag on a bike cos you would have the turbo wound down so it kicked in at lower revs or somet. the only thing i would be scared of is the fact that if you dont keep your eve on the revs an get carried away you could easily do a loop de loop 
Remember speed kills, so does smoking, drinking, drugs, fast food and many more good things
