Well, that was a fun little dirt tracking moment on Ozzy this morning.
I went to shell garage on Barrack road to fill up with Vpower (nothing but the best for oz). There was this big diesel slick all the way from petrol station up barrack road, like a giant metre width rainbow along the road, it was. I rode to the right of it to avoid it, but the roundabout was a sheet of disiesel and I needed the leftish lane. The front end just slipped down so I picked/kicked the bike upright, bumped up on to the kerb (as that was what was in front of me) and road around the back of the bus stop on the pavement and rejoined the road with muddy tyres just before the bridge.
I have scraped ther bottom of my exhaust under the belly of the beast, but by god do I feel alive!!

Re: Dirt track or drop it
My boss at work said it's cos I'm so much more aware of stuff like hazards on the road and around me, I take so much extra caution not to be in an accident that the 95% other zombie drivers don't expect me to think they aren't thinking and my evasive action causes a ripple in the time space continuum and makes me more accident prone.
Apparently if I drive like a zombie, nothing would happen. So I ask - where would my fun be?
f*** it, I mean, it's only money and stuff, right? I got my health. Can't buy that on Ebay. - actually...
