Re: 0-60 anyone know
I'd say it's under 4 seconds real time.
Probably around 3 on paper if the claims of the GSXR1000 doing it in 2.3 secs are to be believed.
Only car I raced from the lights that gave me serious gipp was a bike-engined Caterham (think it was the Busa lump but can't be sure now) and I jussssst about had it to 60.

Re: 0-60 anyone know
There's only so fast any vehicle can physically get from 0-60.
If I remember correctly, a standard ZXR400 won't spin up from a dry standing start, but it may wheelie, and will leave a big black line. Bikes with more power have to balance spinning up against getting the power down.
This is an aquired skill, even without the wheelie factor, so a 160hp bike with 65hp already has the natural advantage.
I found that the initial acceleration of my ZXR would beat most bikes, and then their cc's would come into play.
Like I say, if the 2.3 secs 0-60 of the GSXR1000 is to be believed, then it's undoubtedly possible that a ZXR400 could do the same sprint 0.7 seconds slower (that's a huge gap).
In reality, I think the GSXR figures lie like a cheap Japanese watch, though!

Re: 0-60 anyone know
most people dont genraly bother with 0-60 times on bikes for the reason above.
Genraly you now talk about 0-100 0-120 times what are still quicker than most cars 0-60
