How much is it worth?

Hi everyone I'll be upgrading to an R6 very soon and would like to know how much my beloved zxr400 is worth...







It's a 1993 L3 model, registered in the uk in 1998. It's in average condition, usual wear and tear of a bike this age, as standard, av36 azaro rear tyre, crash bungs, uk mph speedo, just been serviced, new cam chain, new clutch cable, 30,000 ish miles, very fast, reliable. 12 month tax, MOT november.

due to the higher millage id give you £800 and pick up this weekend

Come on chaps thats enough , its probably worth between £1100 and £1500 depending on where you are in the country ect.

yeah with the year and milage id say somewhere around the 1000 mark, except you should be able to entice someone in because of the 12 months mot it has and a few months tax left with it will help as it is buy and ride away, try sticking it on ebay put a reserve on it and see how it goes,

also out of intrest is the front fairing a diffrent shade to the rest of the bike or is it just the pics?

i think cuz of the mileage i would agree with rob636, closer to £1000 is more realistic

gotta be worth at least £1300 i would have thought, apart from that goodridge sticker it looks well neat, love the decals.

Indeed i think its worth as much as someone is willing to pay i think 1000 to 1400 should be a fair assumption to be honest clean lookin bike.

Yes i should also mention it's recorded as a category d... cosmetic only which is why one or two of the panels have been replaced/new decal set.

it really is in good condition though, starts every time, no mechanical faults etc... the MOT is up in nov... so 3 months MOT remain.. shouldn't have a problem though.

i think i'll put it on ebay with a reserve of 800 and see what happens... cheers all

mmm ok value now goes down a tad, £800 maybe good luck but i wouldn't buy a write off of any category.

my 400 was a cosmetic write off when i brought it but i got it for about £300 did it up then wrote it off my self
