That actually seems like one of those extremely rare websites which are UNDERPLAYING the results of tuning a ZXR400!!!

An aftermarket exhaust and rebore will easily see you 80hp at the wheel, and a few other choice mods should get 90hp with little fuss.

I believe some of the racers on here were seeing 80hp+ without the rebore.

I think the full works (rebore, lightened cams, jetting, exhaust, port polish etc) without resorting to turbo's and nitrous, could result in 100hp. If not, it would be damn close to it.
Who needs tyres when you've got knees!!

i only wish it was possible to get 80+bhp from a zxr400 that easily jamz.. in my experience the figures (and techniques) on that site are pretty accurate.

I bet a new fireblade is smaller TBH,
Remember speed kills, so does smoking, drinking, drugs, fast food and many more good things

you could stick a blade engine in, uprate all the suspention, brakes and make it weight foke all for less than buying a 2005 second hand blade...

true, but I personally wouldnt have either :-) There arent enough hours in the day as it is, and I want to ride my bike now not spend my time fixing it/building it in the garage

And I still dont like Hondas, and that includes honda engines. Suzuki wins every time - their fuel injection is spot on, and the gearbox is wonderful :P
