bad luck mate, i have (had) a little red Vespa 125 for nipping to the shops untill last week only about 200 hundred yards from my drive when a woman backed out of her drivway between parked cars and caused me to come off, scooter written of , said she saw me well how come she continued to reverse three quarters way across the road into on coming traffic (me) police arrived and ambulance etc nursing cracked ribs right now so dont make me laugh as it hurts, so not been able to ride the Kwacker in all this nice sunny weather of late , so i empathise with you right now, hope you make a speedy recovery and get back out on a new bike soon .

cheers Mogas ( Phil )

I leave the biggest gaps to the car in front of me, when on bike or car. It's so proper 2 second rule, my stopping distance. :)
Or Tyres and tarmac when in a car.
I don't want to hit anyone so it's not worth looking for gaps in traffic until you're first up the line anyway.

my point exactly - you drive into the back of a stationary vehicle then its your fault for poor observation.

i sold it back to the kawasaki garage for about £700 because i had to pay £300 for pick up and storage up front to take the 636 off them i would be able to claim that back off the insurance but it was just £300 i didn't have. however they are willing to sell it and have had some interest for use as a track bike it really needs alot of work as the frame is bent the cost of repair to get it road worthy would be around £4200 but this includes labour and shipment of genuine parts.

if you're interested you can ring kawasaki autorama on 01924-461112 and ask but i dont think they'll let it go cheap.
