steering damper mount is on the frame as standard, so its an easy bolt on job... shouldnt need one though

are these CBR's that bad cos im saving up for one n should have enough scraped together soon for a nice RR. if they are that bad i might consider the r6 again????? im goin for 53 to 04's an all. so nothing new incase i trash it... anyay hope they aint that bad. but to your question YEAAAAAAAAAA you will get the knee down wicked i tel ya i had the bike a week an got my toes down (althoe it shat me up) it was cool. i recon if your balls were big enough (figure of speech :smt003 ) you could get the pegs down :smt077

You can get the pegs down very easily, though I would not advise it as when it happened to me on the local Tesco's roundabout the peg dug in and suddenly the back end was in front of me, alright though as my R&G's did their job so just a new wing mirror.

But you can go really low on them, I'm trying to get my elbow down on mine at the moment, about half an inch off I think!

i have only been lucky enough to have a quick go on the RR on a test ride BUT they are totally different to my bike they are good wheelie machines (made naked with renthel bars :D ) and in second they lift if you roll on quick enough well te F that i got does anyway but the RR's might be different the CBR's are good bikes very reliable BUT (another but) they have one very common fault the cam chains are crap so i would suggest always to have AA or RAC on your side just for that but other than that they are excelent bikes... I would sugest to get to your local honda store and demand a test ride tell them to not start it until u get there then you can see what its like when its cold cos the only thing i have noticed about my cbr you cant thrash it from cold (mind you you shouldnt do that with anybike i know but thats what there built for arnt they lol..... just kidding) NO the CBR is a great bike to get on thrash get off give it a hug and put it to bed lol well thats what i do with myne i just like annoying people on the road lol and the cbr's are great for it :D

And thank you about the knee down i can do it on the CBR (great bike for knee down too) but as any new (to me) bike i will have to take things slow :) i think a day should do it lol
Oh and i have done a trackday on this cbr and they go like hot ckaka so the RR will be even better
Have fun on your new cbr i know i have, happy new bike ;)
Wendy

P.S now i dont wanna get rid of myne....... dammit!!
