MOTORCYCLE POLICE IN REDDITCH

Post by Jamz »

I keep forgetting to mention this, but a week or two ago when I went past Redditch Police Station I noticed a brand new fleet of marked bikes in their yard!

Not sure what's going on, and they could have just been there for a few days training or something?

I think they've only had one or two bikes there before, so to see 6 brand new sparkly ones in -ing January is a bit worrying! :smt017

Best keep an eye on your mirrors if you're in the area... :smt002

I had a look at The Cloverleaf on Sat and it's terrible!

The inside lane might be ok (if it's ever dry), but the outer one look absolutely lethal! Loads of salt and toad all the way accross it, and so bad that I didn't even want to try overtaking a car without my knee down!

I'd advise leaving it for a while, but watch yourself if you do - try a sighting run first. :smt002

I got my knee down there on Saturday, but it was a bit of a nightmare. The downhill bits are nasty and I had to stand the bike upright round the whole of one of them.

Not the place to go at all yet...

I'm watching two suspicious looking bikers at the Moons Moat McToad's right now!

Both in dayglo jackets with white flip-front helmets - one's on a dark green Pan type bike adn the other something with a silver front fairing on (possibly a Thunderace or something?). Could be instructors or a pair of fogies out for a cruise, though...

No we've moved into the new offices opposite Maccies!

After spending about 15 mins trying to get someone to take his order, he finally did get served, then parked up in one of the spaces!

Nice to know they don't refuse to serve bikes, but why the hell didn't he just go in and get it?? :smt003
