Well i haven't been out for a ride...cos my bike has been about 4500 miles away for the last week.

But it is about 20-25 degrees every day, so f*** the lot of you :smt019 :smt003

I'm herewith work. Bikes everywhere (absolutely nothing above 250cc). Not sure I'd fancy riding one though, the traffic and general disregard for any rules of the road is mental.

Flying back tomorrow night :smt003
In the garage:

Suzuki DR800 - bouncy
1978 Suzuki GS400 - PROJECT RETRO RACER!

What a day! WHAT A DAY! The weather was awsome, roads were dry. Road out to Stratford with my buddy, had a drink with some other bikers, then went and had a look at the suzie dealership, and road back with a load of bikers id never met before. Was absolutely quality.

How good was today? I had a fine ride up from Brighton area to Maidstone. I even chased a new CBR600RR which surprisingly I managed to hold pretty well on the straights (until I hit my fucking limiter!! :smt011 ). But I must admit, although I held pretty well on the straights, I expected to hound him on the corners but this guy was good - he threw it around like it was a 400. Mind you, modern 600's weigh the same! Still, pretty good considering the 200cc and 15yr disadvantage!

What a day though. Awesome ride. I've scrubbed in my BT090's now and they are awesome. All I can say is bring on tomorrow! No better hang over cure than a 2 wheel blast!

Hope you guys get out there - Enjoy it while it lasts!

I was riding around on the A21today :smt004
The A267 is quite nice, and also the A26 between tonbridge and kings hill is a good ride.

Hi all.

Came back home for the weekend to get new tyres etc, then go out on it, the bike has been in the garage since Saturday morning,

the guy who had it last rounded the sump plug on it and the throttle was sticking, I go back to work tonight, so i wont be back until March Easter week, I’ve got ten days leave then, so hopefully the weather will be nice I hadn’t ridden it until November, my mates going to pick it up, it;s his mates garage.

Its cursing me looking outside and the weather is mint, I’ve also treated me self to a new set of wolf leathers, still haven’t worn them yet, anyway I’ve had my moan, take it easy Mike. :smt014 :smt014

I'm not too familiar with Kent as I'm originally from Lewes/Brighton area. There's one outisde Maidstone that gets good after some long boring straights. It even has a humpback bridge that gives you serious 2 wheel air, even at fairly low speeds! Good fun but not for the kwaks sus!

The A267 is one of my favourite roads though. If you follow it from Tunbridge Wells to Five Ashes, then turn off (right) onto the A272 and follow that to Buxted where joins the A22 on the Uckfield bypass. Alternatively, stay on the A267 past Heathfield as it is a lovely piece of road that goes on and on.

So Basically:

A267 - Awesome road that has very, very fast sweeping bends and some wicked elevated chicanes etc. So fun to ride.

A272 - Pefect for 400 as it's twisty and tight enough to never let you top out.

A22 - has some amazing roundabouts and some have recently been resurfaced so can be taken very fast; as either chicanes or switchbacks.

Hey zxr_oli, do you know the roundabout by Buxted/Burger King? I wish all our roads were surfaced like that! :smt007
