Re: need help with caliper
toad, thats tough luck! You can always try ebay? I think they are the same calipers as they use on the ZX7R, hayabusa and other suzuki's too, so that gives you a bit more scope on the search front.
Good luck, and good of you to own upto your mistake too!

Re: need help with caliper
seen 1000000s of thos calipers up for sale, were used on lots of bikes (including the zx6r). Give some brakers a call and ask for ZX6R, GSXR (think only SRAD's had them) busa, ZX12R (i think) brakes should be able to pick on up for £50

Re: need help with caliper
take it to a local engineering firm and ask them to tap a new thread into it, perfectly safe and a normal thing to do to threads that have been removed by one way or another.

Re: need help with caliper
Doesnt work on brake calipers if you snap the nipples housing off, as you then dont have enough room to screw the nipple all the way down and close it. I've done it before to a zxr caliper.carsounds_dan wrote:take it to a local engineering firm and ask them to tap a new thread into it, perfectly safe and a normal thing to do to threads that have been removed by one way or another.
