Ive had my ZXR400 for nearly a year now
Im 18 and i live in southport near liverpool. I am an aprentice motorbike mechanic
My bikes had an interesting life.... it was red when i got it... then i wrote it off on the 2nd day i had it. I had to buy new panels and a new engine but it was back on the road in a week
Then in October 2007 it got stolen. I got a tip off that it was in kirby, long story short, i got my head kicked in by 8 scallies but i got the bike back, although it aint the same... my paintwork was pretty badly damaged, as was my exhaust.
I fixed what i could an stubbied my exhaust which is now pisstake loud.

This is my ZXR, as you can see its pretty unique and distinctive

That my friend is an under statement! Still im sure you like it and being a bike mechanic you know how to look after it! Be good to have a bike mechanic on the forum thats for sure!

if it was painted like that when it was nicked, I can see why it didn't take you too long to track it down

if it had been a plain colour then it would probably have been a smouldering mess in a field in kirkby
yeh the job comes in handy sometimes. It aint gunna be that colour for much longer, just awaiting my new panels which are due in the next week or so

the bike lol! they were playing the "lets see how long we can bounce it off the limiter while doing a rolling burnout before the engine blows up" game when i got there. It developed a pretty nasty misfire after that, they destroyed my 3 week old bridgestone bt-014 rear tyre, wrecked my paintwork and fairing and because they hotwired it, my electrics were doin silly things for weeks
