What stuff did/do beet make for the zxr?
My engine I brought off the bay has apparently got beet camshafts, when i have a look there is no adjustment on them at the sprockets and they look pretty much like the standard ones with no beet markings. The engine had some beet engine casings and a completely different sump setup, which is really thick so I'm guessing that it had a beet sump aswell... what else do they make and has anyone ever seen/used their stuff? whats the quality like?
cheers
dan

tbh, ive never heard of beet cams before....or even engine cases, etc...
ive only ever seen the exhausts and rearsets before. ive got a titainium beet exhaust on my main bike, and the quality is second to none. same with the rearsets...pricey tho..

Re: Beet stuff?
Ive seen beet engine cases for other bikes, not the ZXR400, but that doesnt mean they doen exist, alot of what they make for 400's seems to be only available in Japan

these guys do some beet parts for the 400, might want to get in touch with them and see if they know of any other parts that beet do?
Got a beet titanium system on my zxr, lovely bit of kit

I have been eyeing up those beet rearsets for a while. One day, when i can afford, they'll be in the post quicker than you can say pat.

Re: Beet stuff?
lol, even if they dont, you can buy the banjos that operate the rear light when you press the pedal, they work on the fluid pressure inside the system and operate a switch.
Ive had me eye on them rearsets for a while too, and i will also be getting some soon as the money is there, should probably get the bike painted first tho
If we manage to get the cash all at the same time perhaps we can try for a group discount?

Re: Beet stuff?
I finish uni in a couple of months so the ZXR its looking good for being painted this summer. Possibly having the 7R done too, the bodywork is leaving a bit to be desired after two years of me owning it!
