Help needed!!!

Post by Breesey »

Hi all

just took my bike out for a ride, pulled up outside my house and there was a bit of white smoke comining from the left side of the bike, I took the side fairing off and the regulator seemed to smell of a burning.

I tried to start my bike up and it wouldn’t turn over, its also it making a buzzing /rattling noise when trying to start it, I’ve read other forums and it seems it might be the regulator anybody have any ideas, cheers Mike. :smt017

Hi all,

problem sorted it was the battery it had no water/acid in the cells it was bone dry, the recovery service who I called the guy next door but one works for them which was handy, he took the battery away refilled it put it on super charge he called back before, put battery back in HEY PRESTO :smt067 it fired up.

Also no more rattling /buzzing noise, just put it back in my mates garage just for piece of mind ill invest in a new battery, the guy was a legend he saved me a trip of pushing my bike to the garage as well as sorting the problem out, happy days. :smt003 :smt025

Hi all,

put the new battery and regulator on I called out an auto electrician and the clicking noise was the fuel pump ordered one couple of days ago just waiting to get fitted.

Hopefully that will get my bike up and running. :smt003
