If it hasnt already then yeah it probably will. Had a guy come look at it a few months ago as a guy from MCN ninjas who (the red shed on here) i lent some tools, knew someone who did spraying. He came and looked ummed and ahhed about it and said hed get back to me as he had alot of work on at, but still not heard anything. Not quite sure if its cos he didnt know how to do it (cos the laquer is coloured) or what. But either way im not expecting to hear from him again.

But i have a plan B if it has gone off, i may be getting it sprayed MG metallic green, near as dammit the same except it wont be such a pig to paint for whoever does it, and ill be able to get people willing to do the job. It means ive thrown £200 worth of paint down the drain tho vsad

what happened about the r6 rearsets? did you find out if they fit? does that mean that any rearsets with the same hole space will fit? (similar to brake calipers)

Quite simply got to love the blacked frame and all other parts - more or less what I'm thinking about doing to mine. Possibly a job for the winter, redo the fairings, and maybe strip it right back and have everything powdercoated like you did. Where did you have the powdercoating done, that whole lot for £120?

I had it done at a place near me. I wont give thier name out cos they did it cheap for me (a friend of a friend worked there) and didnt put it in the books so was a cash in hand job. But yeah it shoulda cost me 180/200 quid so i werent complaining. One of my main ideas was to stop anything corroding, so anything that would rot, got blasted and powder coated. So besides looking quite good it also had the added bonus of protecting the metal aswell. I think you could easily do the same job with hammerite on the little brackets and stuff tho.

Yeah, but, odds are I'd bugger it up along the line somewhere, I'd rather like to pamper the bike, and not exactly bodge stuff, as I have/will continue to on the Rovers... lol
