Hi, I'm Ciaran been riding for over 2 years now been on a few track days which I am loving and thinking of getting into racing hopefully.
I got a ZXR400 L5 pretty much standard apart from buying a new Brembo Brake master cylinder and HEL brake lines (didnt have any brakes round Donington the 1st time)

hello Ciaran
dont think about the racing dude, just do it!
honestly, when you get on the grid of yr first race and that red light goes out, you will wonder why you did'nt do it sooner!

Re: Hello there
all over the country man, depends whats you want out of it i spose, and if you dont mind travelling alot.
yr closest club is probs the biggest, bemsee http://www.bemsee.net/
but they race all over... then i think there is derby pheonix in the midlands..
here check out this thread, a bit of info on here
http://www.therevcounter.com/showthread.php?t=738
we could do with a similar section some where in the race bit here Baz/Rob?
I only started last year, so i just went with who was racing closest to me, wirral 100 and aintree. So i only go to 3 tracks( well, will be this year, only managed 2 last year), oulton park, anglesey and aintree. Its good cos i dont have to learn that many tracks whilst im trying to get racecraft sorted.
best idea, is to go check out the 400 racing and have a chat to the racers, i think bemsee are at snetterton on the 12th this month, im at oulton on the 12th this month and your very welcome to hang out with us and eat bbq, drink tea and check the racing out
ah, and for yr lap times check http://www.mylaps.com/ out.
just put in the club or track, then find the 400 race
