All a bit too scruffy for me, the pipe really does need to be tucked away somewhere. But im sure its going to work for some of you guys!

Hm... It's only in staffs... No, I can't even afford to think about it, or look at it.

Tbh, I have to agree. I'd like to experiment with going underseat at some point perhaps though, so who knows, watch this space.

I've vaguely looked at it, but realistically there's nowhere to route a link pipe with the stock swingarm.

If you wanted to do a swap for a s/s swingarm, it would be trivially easy. I think bikes like the CBR6, 675, etc route the link pipe up through a hole in the (conventional) swingarm.

The ZXR400.de frontpage used to show a bike with an underseat pipe routed where the rh rearset ought to be. It wasn't entirely clear how they proposed to put the peg back on...

if your thinking underseat i wouldnt bother. you might have to think of all sorts like the heat from the exhaust melting the light (or messing up the electrics) and plastics. also it restricts the storage space under the seat which at times can be sodin annoyin. i would consider the GT style like on the new R6 or the gixers where they just sweep out the side a touch, not only to they look better there a damn site more practical.

all sorts of routing issues i know, maybe ill give it a go sometime. The one on zxr400.de i can only imagine they set the footrest further out.... Thought of fitting a VFR swingarm and doing it that way.

Just noticed aswell that end can sticks out miles!!
