what rob said and what we were discussing in the 400 underseat exhaust thread.
the last photo looks great, but only cos you can't really see the hash of a link pipe.

i dont think it looks that bad.
i think with the frame being polished the link pipe is a little less noticable

each to his own, I think it looks toad.
plus, you'd melt your boot on the link pipe if you ride with the balls of your feet on the pegs (ie properly)

Re: Got an idea for my zx7r
I quite like that... as comments for the polished frame stand, agreed, but possibly it'd be more subtle if the frame was black'd, and if the linkage was similarly blacked?

Hmm...
Not sure i like the look of the pipes going around the swingarm...
Also I'd be a bit wary of clearance between the two!

Re: Got an idea for my zx7r
don't see why it would be any better or worse than a conventional setup. Swingarm only goes up and down, it's not rocket science to make something that doesn't hit it.
but it still looks toad

to be honest mate, with the weight of a zx7r it would only b like adding an extra lifeboat on the titanic!rene wrote:personaly really dont like underseat pipes, why stick all that extra weigt on the bike?

Buy a zx10 if you want an underseat system. Then you can let me have a go.

Re: Got an idea for my zx7r
Aye, i quite like it aswell. colour is real nice, especially with no stickers, etc...
but then again, it would look even nicer with an upswept high level can, or a devil twinstack might look cool
