MY XR3i Cabriolet - For Baz's eyes only- =p lol

Post by KAWASAKI_KID »

here's my other pride n joy

had it longer than zx

so i gotta lot of love for her

original 1988 chasis no imported and chopped in a uk factory

so stronger
more desirable and not long before tax exemption

plus it totally kicks ass and handles like a dream especially on the corners

flippin loves it

i reccommend an xr3i over a turbo only coz the turbo likes to break a lot and is expensive to fix

tbh.. not really .. it was a pain on the road, but then most trackday cars are, and thats what it was built for .. no sound-proofing, loud exhaust, and a low ratio diff.. and having to talk to old gits every time you stop anywhere gets a bit wearing.

my bentley though .. now that i miss.

the restoration cost more than ive spent on bikes in total, over my life.. and wasnt profitable at all, but very very worth it.

i've never even bought a ticket Baz, im just from a rich family !

hahahaha

no, im actually pikey as f***. Think i'd still be fucking about with old zxr's if i had any money ?

i used to work for "classic car club bristol" and as an aside to buying/selling and hiring out, we did restorations.. cos we wanted to. Our chief mechanic had a mk1 escort fetish and raced an "alan mann" replica twincam, which is how the RS got built .. the bentley .. umm, ok, that was actually my grandfathers, and had been left to rot for 15 years after he died as no-one had the money to fix it, or the heart to sell it, so I got my boss to fund the work, the V5 was in my name, and i've still got the speedo, and know who now owns it.. if i ever do actually win the lottery, i'll buy it back.. but what do you do with a 22ft long car that does 8mpg ?
