ZXR 400 links for goodies
Right, I thought i was going to sell my zxr as ive just sold my audi, and was going to get a GSXR 600 K series with the cash.
But instead of doing that due to insurance premium im going to keep my zxr and spend some money sorting some niggles out and making sure its mechanically sound, but then i want some goodies for it. Just things like nice new looking rear sets, footpegs, brake and clutch levers etc. Oh and i also need a clear screen for the H1.
So if anyones got plenty of links they would share then all could use thins thread to find the sites easier.

Well take a look at the 'parts directory' there may a few links for some of the stuff.
Whats wrong with the levers? please dont tell me you want those tacky looking 'carbon look' levers. Remember you can always polish things up with a polishing wheel kit or at least clean them with autosol.

Re: ZXR 400 links for goodies
the bike has carbon look levers hence the reason for looking lol.
Ive got gold casings on my bike with the fairing blue and my mate had a gold rear set put on his r1, thought it would look good with a gold one etc, with either gold or blue levers. Just want to tidy it up some more and make it look cleaner.

ahhh, glad to hear that!
I painted my rearsets black to match the frame, have to say it doesnt look as busy by the swingarm now. Black levers would go nicely on yours too i think. Bought a brake lever about a month ago, forget how much it cost, cheaper than i thought tho.

If you want to tart your levers up properly..

I look at them every now and then and i keep being sorely tempted to equip my 750 with a set. of all bike bling parts these i have a serious fetish for.
I wish i could afford the calipers....

those ISR levers are porn, but very pricey
i think for a nice set of levers at a reasonable price then you cant go wrong with pazzo levers...

Look like the Terminators arm!
I love the Pazzos. Too many temptations to piss money away with bikes. Have to keep a firm grip and save the cash for petrol!

I was thinking of getting some stuff in gold aswell, still undecided if I'll go down that route but blue levers would suit your bike.
Just so get an idea what they might look like on your bike even tho my bikes red

Those were off ebay for bout 20 quid and only took 10 minutes to fit, brake lever was easy but the clutch was a little more tricky.

Re: ZXR 400 links for goodies

was thinking about buying some of them short ones in either blue or gold. plus a nice gold rear set and passenger pegs or something
just seen these
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ZXR-750-ZX7R-GPZ- ... .m14.l1318
but dont know much about bikes to know if these would fit etc
still want gold ones though lol

Re: ZXR 400 links for goodies
Im not sure if those short ones will pass an MOT.
I persoally wouldnt go for an unknown brand tho, either OEM or a big name are the ones i would go for.

Those levers on ebay are shite. Go for some pazzo's and keep the ones you've got atm, cn always swap them back if its needed for MOT.

i dont think theres a better colour than that lovely plain factory finish aluminium, nothing says "Seriouz biznez" like plain ally
