Anyone know how remove the ignition switch from my ZXR400 L Track bike?

you need to get the yoke off and there will either be some 8mm (iirs) bolts either side or some snap off bolts.

i think if its an L there's a 10k resistor in the barrel as an anti-theft device, without it the bike wont fire up.

just dug this out from another forum.
should be what you need to run without the ignition barrel,
"The grey wire goes to the cdi. It can be spurred off the 12volt live(usually brown)feed to the cdi with a 100 ohm resistor in line which brings it down to around 9 volts (anti theft device) Also join the black/green from the cdi to earth (lock out switch) earths are black/yellow"
should be what you need to run without the ignition barrel,
