How do - new zxr rider

Post by reds »

Hey guys,

I just passed my test last week, so have upgraded to a zxr 400, thanks to the joys of ebay! unfortunalty I have to get it through its mot in a couple of weeks though, but it all seems to be in good working order. Ended up doing the 70 mile drive home in the pissing rain which wasnt too pleasant! and then got pulled by the cops for being uninsured (even though it was, but it wasnt registed on their system yet) so all in all not a great start !!!

anyway here she is:

I brought some crash protectors for it, as im newly passed was worried about dropping it. Not exactly sure where to put them though, the area in the fairing where they could go has two bolts, could anyone tell me if it is the upper or lower one i should be taking out ? also do i use the bolts supplied with the bobbins, or the original ? i got them off of ebay and they came with no instructions !!!

hi !

mount the crash bungs with the bolts that came with them, they replace the bolt that passes through the cylinder head of the engine, rather than either of the two that secure the mount to the frame.

How do! Looks nice, and is most definately in the right colour, so you've got two positives in my book already!
