new sp (j1) owner here.
Mate of mine dropped her off today which turns out (with the help of this site) it's a sp j1. totaly new to the world of 400's and carbs for that matter, my normal road bike being a Suzuki GSXR 750 K7. Do the odd track day so this little 4 is going to be my dedicated track tool. Plenty of questions coming your way for sure so look out for me!

Hard to be sure but I don't see an adjuster on the bottom of the fork leg
Take the seat off and show us a picture of the ignition black box

looks nice
tis hard to tell with sp's (specially j1's) as so many standard bikes get a single seat fitted and then get misrepresented as sp's..
but if she's genuine

Yip, the photo of the SP I posted up showed it to have no rising rate adjusters - with it being a respray , check for stress in the frame as I would assume it's been down the road at some time.
Would love to have that swinger on my bike
Swap you for something !
Front sprocket should be 16T instead of 15T
Enjoy

Nothing worse than having an H and not being able to scratch it !
