wont idle when warm

starts up fine when choke is on the after 5mins i turn it of rev it a bit let its idle it idles below 1700 sits on 1000 then dies but is ok if u rev was fine a few days ago ????

shitty fuel filter. shitty fuel. air leak. carbs blocked etc etc. can be a pain to sort. start simple. clean yer plugs, run the bike for 10 mins then recheck the plugs. may give u a clue if the carbs are " dodgy"

if i stop a lights i cuts out if i go to another i dont and then when it does die it wont start till 5 mins laterhow do u adjust the idol

thing is i dont use it alot so how can things go wrong once a week ive booked in to aye ge next week for sevice and for the cuting out ur frm orpinton init im only down the road

lol went for a ride down to littlehampton in west sussex today and done it, then when on way homw ran out of petrol too lol,not a good day

yh i broke dwn in mottingham the other day uno it yh at trafic lights again left it and it started first time

mine was doing similar things,cutting out and not starting again till it cooled down!! put a new petrol pump on it this morn and it seemed ok today, was still runnin a bit rough every now n again but starting up ok

I'd clean ur carbs lads, i had the same problem with my KLR and i had to really keep the revs up at the lights to stop it cutting out, even the choke cudn't keep it from spluttering out, cleaned the carbs and it was fine.
