Snow!

Post by hciR »

What a great way to start the week. I knew there was snow forecast today but didn't expect this much. Too dangerous to drive to college so just got to play in the snow :excited

Looks like fun. Sadly, no snow up here in Cleethorpes, although that's not what the weather forecast has been saying, just rain, rain, rain. Very cold rain mind.
Action is the antidote to despair.

That's some deep snow, dude! We've got about three inches here. In the morning we're gonna try to better our 9' 5" snowman of last year -

That's a proper snowman! just add a top hat and that's another foot taller. I just found out college is closed tomorrow as well, so more snow fun lol. I'm now gonna go back to watching cars unintensionally drift round the roundabout :smt003

Well i heard the forcasted snow but thought id see how it is in the mornin b4 i jump on the KLR.

Alarm went off looked out the window: F**K YES! LIE IN!!!!

Not getting the bus cuz it takes an hour to do what takes me 10 minutes on a good day so id have been stook on the bus for hours in this weather.

Instead i chilled in the house all warm n toasty all day :D

Doubt i'll be going college again tomorrow either so another lie in :D

Better be gone by wednesday tho as i have work and i really do not want to have to get the bus especially when the buses finish at 10pm and im workin till 11.
If it's broke spray it with WD40, if it's still broke spray it again and leave it over night, if it's still broke, bin it.

Great pic's, snow does look good when it's that deep.

Glad to say I haven't lived with snow like that for 7yrs now :excited

But did visit a snow festival a few years ago just to remind myself :smt002

we havent had that much snow - so its pretty much business as usual here. Snow and ice is far more fun when you have winter tyres fitted :smt016

off to Sweden at the end of the month - will be looking for some frozen lakes for ice driving :smt004

heh - it was great, 180 2 stroke sliding around the street.

not really suitable for snow mobiles, but I'm definitely looking to do some ice driving this time.

It looks like its gonna be v.cold, it was -14C last time, and it starts to get inconvenient then, eyelashes start freezing etc. Looking at weather reports - it could easily be colder than that this time.
