i'm John from the wirral, i'm at stafford university studying motorsport technology. i passed my test in january and got this baby in feb. 17000 miles, full service history, galfer wavey discs, delkavik stainless down pipes with scorpion can. enjoy.

hey john welcome to the forum. Nice ZXR! How you getting on with the dekavic system? Heard of them but not yet come across anyone who has owned one!

but 6ft6!! f*ck! Im 6"3 and thought that was a squeeze! I have also just padded out my seat gaining an extra couple cm's which does help a lot!

the bikes restricted so i havent noticed any power gains. having said that the original pipes had about 4 holes in them so there was a big imrovement lol. the stainless pipes are really heavy though. they felt heavier than the standard system and that was made of rust. ive been looking for a micron full system but havent seen any on ebay plus i got no money so it's gonna have to wait a while.

i think thats the trade off, stainless weighs more but will last significantly longer! Micron systems are getting harder to get hold of but they are out there so keep looking/saving! ;)

Mind, look at it this way, that's more of the bike's weight right towards the bottom of the bike, so it's gotta do a tiny something towards lowering the CoG...

Not really any difference to standard. And they don't weigh THAT much more
