Newbie. advice wanted.

Post by colsy »

Hiya all,

I do believe this is my first post, although my account is nearly 2 yrs old!! So massive hello to all. I joined in 2007 (i think) when I was contemplating a zxr, but went with a RGV250 instead...which was a nightmare!! georgous machine, but took me an age to get runing anything like a RGV250...anyway, I digress. I always regrett not buying the zxr instead, and after trying a few other bikes, and now with one year without 2 wheels, I'm feeling the itch, and I rekon it's time I had a zxr in my life! :smt007 So, I've read the buyers guide, and know the different models, and what to watch for, but what would you owners in retrospect wish you had done differently about the purchase of your zxr? I'm off to China for a couple of months soon, but when I come back I will be in the market for a bike, probly looking to spend £750-£1250. I can do mechanical and cosmetic repairs ect and actually enjoy that sort of thing, I'd be using the bike as a daily, occasionally doing the odd track day. I would appriciate all the advice you guys have.
