I am trying to remove the rider and pillion seat from my ZXR 250. Any tips??

Dont know to be honest.
The 400 has an allen bolt right where your testicles would be, and the pillion seat comes off by a key lock in the side panel just underneath. No idea if its similar on the 250.
just taken a look at some pics and the passenger seat lock appears to be on the left hand side panel in a recess (like the 400), although i dont know if it varies between models. You might find that the lock undoes both or undoes 1 which gains you access to a latch to undo the other, this is how it was on my 7R.

I am really stumped because there is no lock, and no visible screws to unscrew! I am tempted to just rip the seat off out of frustration but I don't think that will make my future riding very comfortable
Its a ZXR 250 1990 model if anyone can help.

i have a zxr250 manual at home i will look later and let you know.
