Giving a new GSXR 750 a run for its money

Post by smithy674 »

Went out today with a few of the lads one of them i have never met with a gsxr750 09 plate......

By looking at his tyres i could see he was abit of a rider compared to the others i ride with i may have had some competition. Managed to keep up with him through the windy roads when i got close to him going in2 a corner he would just power out and leave me but managed to get past him and keep him there!

ZXR's fight back!!

ive beaten a gixer thou round the twisties, this was back in 2001 mind and it was brand new. Three of us went out one night, me on ZXR, one on a blade and the other gixxer. The blade was way ahead (he was a racer), pulled up to wait for us, then i pulled up he said he 'werent expecting me to be next'.

Just goes to show, size isnt everything ;)

I useually ride with a cbr600rr and a R6....there not the quickest riders not been riding long so i dont get a challenge with them but this lad was pretty quick. Was fun having someone i could ride with who can put the power down!

On a bad note the bike was playing up again a little 2day......doing the same as befor but it seems to stop doing it after 10mins. Got some carb cleaner going to blitz it 2moz as weather ment to be crappy :smt001
