Hi people...
Im currently contemplating wether to buy a ZXR L9 black-purple...I went to see it today, and it looked great...EXCEPT for that darned ZXR logo...its almost pinkish, and just makes the bike a bit too girly for my liking!...Blackish purple is fine by me, but the logo has to go!!..does anyone know if thats an easy thing to do with basic tools?..
thanks, from a complete Newbie!
Can I Remove the ZXR Logo from my L9??

Re: Can I Remove the ZXR Logo from my L9??
hi and welcome to the forum
Where is the logo? If its the one on the tank then no, it'll be a case of stripping it down and re-painting as its laquered in.
If its one on the bodypanels then it should lift off with the use of a hot air gun/hair dryer, providing they arent laquered in anyway. As standard they arent.

oh one more question..
how much would someone expect to pay for a strip down and respray...not necessarily at a kawsaki dealer, but private professionals that know what they're doing??
thanks!

well if u can rub it down and remove the sticker urself it will be alot cheaper but i had a quote of £100 for a respray and laquer on a tank.
If it's broke spray it with WD40, if it's still broke spray it again and leave it over night, if it's still broke, bin it.

Get a sticker made in a colour you like and stick it over the top of the original ones.

spray the whole bike pink to match the sticker then it wont stand out soo much.
Don't forget people there is more to the zxr400 than this forum... check out www.zxrworld.co.uk also.
