mickthemirkins ride

Post by mickthemirkin »

Sorry to take so long to post a 'hello, world' type picture but for all and sundry here is my bike. It's an early Japanese import dating from 1990, zxr400 H2.

Yes, I know I paid too much (£870 :smt010 ) , yes I know it's tatty but it's mine and I love it :smt007 .

Mick.

Thanks for that, Master!

Not sure who did the paint but it's very rough close up. Best look from a distance! :pmsl

Neither, Liam. Rough as in some idiot has thrown it down the road on not one, but both sides in the past :wanker

Still, doesn't look too bad for a 19 year old bike I suppose, from a distance that is! :smt003

Yes, in truth most damage is just superficial, really. Like you say, scratches here and there and a very small dent in the top of the tank (would love to know how he did that one - riding inverted I'll bet!). Other than that, nothing a tube of autosol and some elbow grease won't cure.
