My Dad had a Subaru Justy. Not bad cars at all. In fact that's exactly what they are - cheap run arounds!. AWD is handy and don't think it ever had any mechanical issues.
Not great performance from a 1.3 hauling all that 4WD stuff around, but it's not thirsty either. :smt023

hate to say it, but pug 106s are going cheaper than ever, as are ford ka's.

you can always pick up a cheap-ass ford escort 1.3 (N reg ish) for peanuts. I got one for £230 before Xmas for my sister from a local second hand dealer. Still working.

thanks guys, am looking at pugs at - 106 diesel, cheap tax + good return of fuel ! my old 306 (merlin) made it to 140,000 and that was petrol, before everythying started to go, so recon that the plan, as im not a fan of the Ka's

my mate used to have a 106 diesel and it was bullet proof.
Remember speed kills, so does smoking, drinking, drugs, fast food and many more good things

yes thats my forum the swift/justy is why i bought the zxr to ride from my house to my garage 15miles sick of pedal bikeing it once the car is finished i can start the serious work on the bike i despise anything standard lol

but back to topic a sandard justy wont burn no fuel even a swift gti still does 35mpg driven sensibly
