would like advice on my zxr400.

hay ive just now brought a zxr400 but just now found out that the head gasket has gone on it :( its done 33000 miles wondering weather it was worth me getting a 2nd hand engine? and still trying 2 find out weather it is the H1 or H2 model or are they both the same? thank you.

H1 models have a brace on the swinging arm :smt001

lot of people on here tend to do the head gaskets thereselves.
Don't forget people there is more to the zxr400 than this forum... check out www.zxrworld.co.uk also.

thank you very much. do u haf 2 drop the engine out 2 change the head gasket on them or can u leave it in?

personally i would drop the engine, gotta be soo much easier than fiddling around with it in situ at least you know you have done it properly having access all round.
