The Stig is............

Post by 86zxr01 »

Michael Schumacher shocking

I couldnt believe it but does explain why he's so damn good. The way that he drove that Ferrari round the track last night was awesome. What a legend!

Do you reckon that they all knew that it was him? That would be such a hard secret to keep

No chance. He's not The Stig - he was just there because that was his FXX and Ferrari wanted someone to drive it who'd set a fast time and not kill it. winks

My money is still on Ben Collins - plus maybe the odd few 'special guest drivers' for cars exactly like the FXX.

And how come the Ferrari's time was allowed but the Radical SR8 and Ultima GTR's stupidly fast times were disallowed??? :smt017

I think its becasue JC liked that Ferrari so will leave it up there

Yeh I heard that he was the only person Ferrari would let drive the car as its £1million and he's used to that type of car and obviously knows a few heads in Ferrari.

Martin Brundle, at least on that 24 hour race they did.
Saw him take his lid off....

He's got the ok from all the manufacturers to drive all the swish cars and stuff.

But sometimes manufacturers such as Ferrari insist on their drivers driving the cars.

My first thought to that was "is he good enough? :smt017 "... but then ignoring his commentating and thinking about his driving (he's mentioned in Senna's biography as one of his closest rivals), he certainly is!

Hmm...

It wouldn't surprise me if he at least did the Le mans race because he was toad-hot in sportscar racing, too...

It's some ex racing driver that lives in Lincolnshire(can't remeber his name). They done an interview with him in the Grimsby Telegraph last year. I didn't think it was a secret. I'll try and dig out the article.
