Insurance Ruling In Favour Of Bikers!

Post by Jamz »

I just saw this link posted on another site.

If you've had an accident where you were filtering past slow or stationary traffic, and a car pulled out to do a u-turn, this could be invaluable:

My case has been outstanding for a year and a half and they have only just admitted full liability...

interesting that, some twat did exactly this to me yesterday and pushed me into oncoming traffic, i luckily pulled the bike in at right angles in between 2 moving cars, and only just got away with it!

It gets a little iffy when the traffic is moving at more than a crawl...
Mirror. It's called a f#@%ing mirror. we're not leaping buses. We're no tunnelling under them. We're coming from the EXACT place you'd expect a vehicle to come from. And that's the trick: EXPECT.
You're in 1.5 tons of metal. Wake up and treat it seriously.

Jesus I would have sold my ass on the streets to fund the ensuing legal battle if anyone dared blame 80% of a t-bone on me.

Yeah I don't get those people. I think they are just jealous. It may not be legal to filter but it is accepted, even by the police. I also notice alot of people will move over to the left some when they see me coming, especially my colleagues.

Just pray that you're not 'represented' by Shoosmiths if it ever does happen, then. Bunch of useless Camel-monkeys. :wanker

uh everyone gets it dont they, if someone tries to close me out i just punch there window as hard as i can on the way past :smt003 makes me feel better, but i do make a point of thanking ppl when they move over for me.
as for someone getting out the car after flinging there door open, you might as well put a red rag to a bull... that would infuriate me because its legal to filter at low speeds.... :smt013 :smt013 :smt013
Remember speed kills, so does smoking, drinking, drugs, fast food and many more good things
